I just started to learn some pixel art. Here is one of my work. A scene from Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens. This is based on the scene where Kylo Ren fought against our heroes. He's facing with Finn here on the snowy, dark Starkiller Base.
As you can see, I rescaled the image to 256x256 (64x64 is the original), I tried to add some old CRT TV style effect in Photoshop. I added scanlines, I kinda shifted the RGB channels. The lightsaber lighting effects are on the original image, I just added one colored layers of red and blue with lowered opacity. I especially like the red light.
